I’ve said “generally” there because the other week, we took on a lovely Australian nurse with 6 years of continuous Residential Home experience – it would have been daft to turn her down. But fancy that, an Aussie nurse coming to England for a change!
The key purpose of our experience requirement is to ensure that all of our nursing home bank staff can hit the ground running and get right to work in new Residential Home settings, with minimal briefing.
We also provide our staff with in-house, CPD-accredited training courses to keep them up-to-date with the latest healthcare standards and techniques. So when you get your nursing home bank staff through Medilink, you get staff who really know their stuff!
Naturally, all of our nursing home bank staff are DBS checked, which is updated yearly by our partnered company, Aaron’s Department.
