Sometimes, an applicant will have such overwhelming experience that we override the UK-based rule, but only if we are entirely confident in their abilities! For example, turning down the Aussie nurse with 8 years of continuous experience just wouldn’t have made any sense.

Training

We provide all of our agency staff with free yearly refresher training. Too often, agency staff go without regular training because they don’t have a regular employer! This isn’t the case at Medilink Nursing. We make sure all of our agency staff get the same standard of training they would at a Residential Home, providing them with courses on topics such as People Moving and Handling, Infection Control, and Medication Awareness.

Specialist Staff
