COVID-19 Vaccine No Longer Needed For Carers & Nurses

Nurses and Healthcare Assistants are now no longer legally required to have the COVID-19 vaccine to work in Care Homes or Nursing Homes!

After a review from the Government, it was decided that although getting the vaccine is still important, the changing landscape of the pandemic and new scientific evidence means that the legal requirement of needing the vaccine could be revoked.

Our Requirements For Healthcare Staff

Experience is our main focus, that is why we require any member of staff wanting to work with us to have:

A minimum of six months experience in the last two years in a Care Home, Nursing Home or Hospital
Or
A minimum of two years experience in the last five years in a Care Home, Nursing Home or Hospital.

If you find yourself falling just short of this experience, but you are currently working as a Nurse or Carer, no problem! Simply give us a ring, and we can discuss your current situation, and we will do what we can to make you part of the team!

Of course, whilst we do appreciate that everyone has to start somewhere, having this experience is essential, as the places our staff work in require staff to slot straight in, ready for action.

Our clients have high expectations of all our staff due to our fantastic reputation, so without the experience, it would be difficult for anyone to perform at the levels expected of them.
