What We Need From You

So you know what you’ll be getting from us, but we also require a few things in order for you to be a part of the team.

Can You Be a Care Assistant With No Experience?

To work as a care assistant with Medilink Nursing, we require a minimum of six months of experience in the last two years in a Residential Home, Nursing Home or Hospital, or a minimum of two years experience in the last five. This experience must be from within the UK, and we need to be able to verify it with your former employer!

Why Do We Require This Experience?

Whilst we appreciate everyone has to start somewhere, our roles require our staff to slot straight in straight away, wherever they go, without the need for training on the job. Without this experience, it would be very difficult for anyone to perform at the levels expected of them!

DBS Checks

As with any healthcare job, you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check with Barred List. This is a very simple process, and as long as you are not barred from working with vulnerable groups, and have the experience, you’ll be able to join the team.
