In Barnsley, there is an opening for a Senior Support Worker.

Position specification:

Your responsibility as a Senior Support Worker will be to provide an excellent standard of care to our clients whilst making sure they are comfortable and their needs are met.

The ideal Senior Support Worker possesses:

• Outstanding verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to adapt to different shift schedules.
• The ability to show a patient and sympthatic attitude.
• On-the-job experience in a Nursing Home or Residential Care Home. We require a minimum of 6 months' experience in the past 2 years, or 2 years' experience in the last 5 years.
• Enjoyment from the work they do.

The position requires the following:

• Provide at least two professional references that are verified with the organisation.
• Be good at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
• Be able to plan and manage your own workload in a time-efficient manner.
• Be happy to go to different care homes and undertake various tasks.

You'll be paid:£10.42-£20.74

*Please note, all applicants must undertake a DBS check (enhanced level) if successful.

*We do require that all of our applicants have at least 6 months of experience in the past 2 years or 2 years in the past 5, working in a hospital, nursing or residential care home.
