In Doncaster, there is an opening for a Senior Care Assistant.

Information about the position:

As a Senior Care Assistant, your main focus will be to help those under your care, ensuring they can live a quality lifestyle.

It is expected that the ideal Senior Care Assistant has:

• Enjoyment from the challenges that arise from working in care.
• A caring and sympathetic attitude at all times.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, even under pressured situations.
• Two years experience in the last five years, or 6 months experience in the last two years. Both would need to be in a Nursing or Residential Home.

What’s required:

• Have current, up-to-date training.
• Provide a work history of at least five years.

Senior Care Assistant payment:£10.42-£19

**Note: All applicants are required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check unless already registered with the DBS Update Service.

*Applicants need to possess experience of at least 6 months in the last 2 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, working in a nursing or residential care home or hospital.
