You'll need to show patience and a positive outlook when you are communicating with residents as a Senior Part Time Support Worker. Your activities will vary day-to-day, but they will all contribute to ensuring a good quality of life for those under your care.

To be an ideal Senior Part Time Support Worker, you should have:

• Flexibility to work shifts on a varied schedule.
• A caring and compassionate attitude towards others.
• Six months of working experience in Nursing or Residential Care in the past two-years, or two years experience in the last five.
• Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills, even in potentially stressful situations.
• Enjoyment from the challenges that arise from working in care.

Rates of pay:£10.42-£20

*All successful applicants must be registered with the DBS Update Service or undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

*We do require that all of our applicants have at least 6 months of experience in the past 2 years or 2 years in the past 5, working in a hospital, nursing or residential care home.
